i first found this book at the library and, after renewing it a thousand times and racking up late fees, finally decided to buy it. it's that good. jae does the best job i've ever seen of making things that are healthy without snubbing out the taste. this in itself is a feat, as there is usually a sort of dichotomy when it comes to vegan recipes: they are either kind of unhealthy or totally taste like paper. there is an awesome abundance of gluten-free and soy-free recipes. i've made almost all of them by now, and they are all seriously fantastic. definitely worth the buy! her new book, ripe from around here, and her blog, domestic affair, are also worth looking at.
