Freewheel Vol. 1

Freewheel is a fantastically drawn and written tale of a young girl, Jamie Bell, on a search for her older brother. Jamie's story isn't the typical coming-of-age, Homeward Bound kind of narrative, though. Along the way, she finds an underground network of forest-dwelling societal runaways who have created a crusty punk's dream community. Jamie must navigate this odd community, its assorted denizens (including the Contessa, whose identity I really want to give away, but won't), and its secret passageways in order to reunite with her best friend and brother.
