Pin #022: Homophobia Definition

It is not combating homophobia to say that "Homophobia is Gay", though it is a clever play on words. The problem with saying things "are so gay" in the negative sense is that directly relates being gay, and gayness in general to things that are bad. In our culture Gay is Synonymous with "bad".I'd like to see the word being taken back as a good thing. "That's so gay" being synonymous with "that's so great."

OH! I have a shirt that I wrote "HOMOPHOBIA IS GAY" on, and I actually got in trouble for having the word "GAY" on my shirt at school... I had to explain it to the deans...

Since God won't let gay peeps into Heaven, I'd have to say that He is homophobic. And since God is Homophobic, all the parts of God are: God, Son, Holy Spirit. You're Welcome. :)
