(E.g., "When you are in the music store and you pick up a CD by women musicians who have your back instead of a bunch of boys who hog all the air time on the radio, that's self-protection" and "When you find out which politician is supportive of women, lesbians, and motherhood and vote for her, that's self-protection.") Featuring GREAT art by Mari Naomi Schaal (Estrus Comics) this smart, tough 24-pager is worth every dime! Much recommended!

This was amazing. I bought it for a hardcore feminist friend of mine for her B-day, and of course being a moderate feminist myself had to read it. I have decided upon reading this that every woman, feminist or not, should at least read this, it is a beautiful tribute to small parts of the unwritten code of womanhood, and a wonderful way to make a woman feel better about being who she is.
