I Have a Song for You

Bucket Siler lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and her favorite color is orange. She writes true stories with some fabricated parts, and then some entirely fictional ones too. In "The Sun Shines Forever" she and an 11 year old girl dig a magic passageway in the dirt. "Alchemy" is about a partner with glass jars of mystical potions. "Soft as Snow" is about a talking marshmallow that goes missing, and "Gravity" is about going home to New Jersey, snuggling with a best friend, and never wanting to go home. The stories in I Have a Song for You are darkly whimsical, and fantastical in nature, while still preserving a sense of realism. And each copy comes with a full color sticker that says, "I heart stories."
