High Maintenance Machine #26
by Matthew Reidsma
This personal comic is the true story of a very young Matthew coming to terms with the idea of his grandfather's terminal cancer. His dog has cancer too, and he is confused by her lumpy tummy. Matthew wonders where his grandfather went, and if his dog will go there to. He tries to comprehend the concept of tumors, but just imagines them as meatballs spewing everywhere. This is a sad one.
