Portland comic-maker John Issacson has led a long full life. Pyromania is a comics collection of some of those stories. John discovers straight edge as a teen and is horrified when his dad tries to relate. A teenage altercation with a transit cop leads to a full-on bus boycott. The Built to Spill song Perfect From Now On haunts John's young relationships, all the way to Europe and back. John learns about mushroom hunting, and draws an ode to 3 important cars in his family.
