Dayburner #2: Information that is useless, "unless, of course," you are an electrician
by Frank Clark
This is the reason zines exist. It's a collection of illustrations of street lighting fixtures, makes, models, evolution, brands, variations, and implementations across different Metropolitan areas. There’s an obvious fascination from the author here, so much so that I was gripped cover to cover. The drawings are technical but still maintain their character and stylization. The concept is masterful, as is the execution. What a fabulous way to preserve forgotten history. It puts the fan back in zine.
