Sara Century is a lesbian writer and filmmaker with a deep and profound love for comics, movies, books, environmentalism, and weird music. After booking lots of punk and noise shows in Denver, CO in the 2010s and working as a pop culture writer in the early 2020s, she began focusing on storytelling as her major creative outlet. She's been making zines for most of her life with no end in sight, starting with teen fanzines and working up to the longform essays on film and comic book franchises she's putting out today. She is a former host of the podcast Bitches On Comics, and current host of Best Issue Ever, which highlights favorite single issue comics. She is also the owner of Sympathetic Lightning Productions, a small video production company operating in the Midwest. Finally, she has a collection of messy queer horror stories available through Weirdpunk Books, A Small Light & Other Stories.
