This is a graphic memoir about Gerigscott's experience with Lyme disease. He takes us through his life after college as he travels, gets married, and deals with chronic pain all the while. It takes a long time for him to actually be diagnosed and treated, and along the way we get to see him experience significant life events and share tender moments with his loved ones. It's a sweet book on pain, love, and the everyday realities of being human.
