I am Not a Dog Toy

by Ethan T. Berlin Author and Jared Chapman Illustrator

The best kind of bear is a fun bear, and clearly the only thing better than that is a bear who wears a vest with many pockets. When a little girl gets the fun bear as a present, however, she somehow doesn't appreciate it and throws it in the dog water. That means this very fun bear has a new friend. The Dog! But although the dog is sure they are new besties, the bear misses the girl. He can't get her attention and neglects his would-be canine companion in I am Not a Dog Toy, which helps young children learn about the value of reciprocation.
