The Four Workarounds: Strategies From the World's Scrappiest Organizations for Tackling Complex Problems

by Paulo Savaget Author

In our daily lives, we often encounter intricate problems. Problems at home, problems at work even problems with society itself.  So, what do we do, particularly when urgency demands swift action? For generations, large corporations have been imparting their wisdom to smaller organizations and not-for-profits on how to navigate the complexities of problem-solving. However, the tables should have been turned. In The Four Workarounds, Paulo Savaget, unveils the profound insights that can be gleaned from the most resourceful and agile groups when it comes to solving challenges: the piggyback, the loophole, the roundabout, and the next best approach. It showcases how apparently unsolvable issues were successfully solved through outside-the-box tactics.

La lucha sigue sigue! Zapata vive vive!

This is about the Zapatistas in the southern Mexico state of Chiapas. The mexican gov't and paratroopers continue to harrass and intimidate these indiginous people because they want the land, which contains huge close-to-the-surface oil pockets.
