Homage to Catalonia gives an excellent view of the conflict between Anarchists and Communists as well as life on the front lines, but not a lot on what the revolution really did for the people, especially the rural people. that's what this would show us, i would imagine.

Very educational, I suggest reading Orwell's "Homage to Catalonia" for a better picture on the spanish civil war
