“One thing you can never count on these days is an accurate representation of what’s what in the dwindling world of paper zines. We all know the internet is changing/has already changed the way people access information, especially with respect to international communication. Don’t let me go off on that too much, what I’m saying is there is definitely a space for a zine yearbook like this. Hell, we could use one from every single major city in the world, if someone wanted to take the reigns. The idea is that there are two pages from each zine featured, which gives you a minute idea of what the rest is about. In some ways this can be much easier to sift through and find something you might be interested in, really, and in other ways it’s a blur of words and thought that runs all over the place. But this particular yearbook actually seems to cover a reasonable gamut of tight shit, comics, bands, politics, personal embarrassments, etc. I will definitely be contacting some of the zinesters and making orders. It’s got 30+ zines to look through. Dang!”
