Work Funnies

Work Funnies

by Constance Taylor Author

Work Funnies are comics about Constance's 2 years spent as a car mechanic. Everybody has their 2 cents about a "girl" working on cars. She's either got dudes trying to take the tools right out of her hands, women wistfully admiring her skills, or friends asking her for car advice. Half the issue is a side by side comparison comic of her time spent working as a mechanic, versus her time as a sex worker. It turns out dancing and fixing cars have a lot in common.

There's one with different people's reactions to the news that the writer was beginning training as an auto-mechanic, one comparing her experiences as a stripper to those of her new job, and my favorite one was the first one, a simple exchange between her boss and herself ..."
