Wow, what a genius idea! Sean Carson's In Light of What's Happening It Happened Vol. 1 is a comic zine/mixtape combo in which the comic explains his ideas and philosophy and intent behind the tape. As he says in the comic, “I tried to describe this to a friend, 'Listening to that album is like... It's like seeing my entire life. I can see my whole life in that album!'” Here we have Sean's life distilled into a 24 song mixtape, each track a piece of personal history, a tool for him to map his inner landscape. It is a way for Sean, as he says, to find “some reconciliation, some cohesion, some way to connect to everything.” Oh, and the tape itself effing rules.
