Berta Viva! Poster

Co-founder of COPINH (Civic Council of Popular and Indigenous Organizations of Honduras) Berta Cáceres struggled to protect the Lenca and Honduran Indigenous people and their land from exploitation and to advocate for their political, cultural, social, and economic rights. Because of her and COPINH's strong opposition to the 'Agua Zarca' Hydroelectric Project, Cáceres and other COPINH members were assassinated. But her memory lives in on the contemporary struggles of other Indigenous and feminist organizers. Celebrate People's History with this poster. Put it up in your classroom, office, home, or wherever you want to honor Berta's memory and struggle.
