Alex Wrekk leads a DIY life of making zines (Brainscan has been in publication since 1997), badges, travel plans, vegan food, and space in bed for her cat. When she isn't actually making zines, she's doing other zine-related things including organizing the Portland Zine Symposium, hosting the Nobody Cares About Your Stupid Zine podcast, teaching workshops, and singing about zines with her pop-punk band The Copy Scams. 

Wrekk moved from Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1999 and now lives in Portland, Oregon.
