Deirdre English teaches at the Graduate School of Journalism at University of California Berkeley, where she also serves as a faculty mentor at the Center for the Study of the Working Family, part of the Graduate School of Sociology. In the past, she edited for Mother Jones, authored many publications and TV documentaries, and taught at the State University of New York.
