Olivier Matthon

Olivier Matthon is a documentary filmmaker and commercial mushroom picker. His first feature film, Up on the Mountain, follows Southeast Asian refugees, Latino immigrants, and white Americans as they struggle to access public forests to harvest wild mushrooms. His photos of mushroom pickers have been published by High Country News magazine and exhibited at the Museum of Ethnography of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland. Originally from Québec, he now lives in the Pacific Northwest.
