Wendell Berry

Environmental activist, farmer, cultural critic, and prolific writer Wendell Berry has written dozens of books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. He is a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers, a National Humanities Medal winner, a Jefferson Lecturer, a 2013 Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Richard C. Holbrooke Distinguished Achievement Award winner, and the first living inductee of the Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame.
