Millions of Bantus were forcibly transported to Brazil and enslaved from the 1500's-1800's. Run For It tells the stories of resistance of four of these individuals. Inspired by historical documents, D'Salete illustrates their rebellion and fight for freedom through striking black-and-white drawings, through which we learn of their incredible activism and how it helped shape the Brazil that we know today
