A Monk's Guide to a Clean House and Mind
by Shoukei Matsumoto Author
As one of the staples of Buddhist practices, there's very few who appreciate cleaning as much as a monk. Therefore, it stands to reason a book written by a monk (namely, Shoukei Matsumoto) who got his MBA in Religious Studies would be a pretty great resource on how to use cleaning as a meditative practice. In A Monk's Guide to a Clean House and Mind, Matsumato walks the reader through essential steps in keeping your home clean, including instructions like "Air It Out" and "Don't Procrastinate." If you're like me and find cleaning a bit foreboding at times, this book is here to make it a maintanable, peaceful practice through know-how and simple illustrations.
