My First Book of Feminism (for Boys)

My First Book of Feminism (for Boys)

by Michele Brummer-Everett Author and Julie Merberg Author

After reading about this book, I think the concept of teaching young boys about feminism through cute rhymes and pictures is killer. With cute lines like "There aren't girl jobs or boy jobs- do what you can do. It's nobody's job to clean up after you!", this short-and-sweet book teaches important life lessons to boys in the format of a typical children's book. It's clever and positive, using simple statements like "use your words to win fights" to help establish a good moral compass in the next generation of boys (although I know some adult men who could benefit from the life lessons in this book). On top of it all, its life lessons are accompanied by cute illustrations to keep a figdety little mister entertained.
