Juicy Mother: Celebration

This collection of comic stories contains the illustrated works and stories that center the experiences of women, queer people, and people of color. It features a wide range of stories from those of dykes in a relationship, a queer black man’s coming of age, the life of a Muslim lesbian, a Latina encountering aliens, and much more centered around the theme of celebration! This collection attempts to be a voice in the comics world dominated by straight white men, positioning itself in the world of alternative comix. This content inside features artists and writers that are both new, up and coming, and beloved such as Alison Bechdel, Joan Hilty, Ivan Velez, Jr. and more artist as well as collaborations.
