LM Montgomery grew up without her mother and turned to books instead. At first she was reading, then eventually turned to writing. As she penned her stories, she wrote about the childhood she wished she had. In doing this, she created the legendary Anne of Green Gables. This little book has some neato art and extra facts about Montgomery's life and biography.

Norstein Beckler 6/16/2006: I had the biggest crush on the girl on the cover of this book! Her name was Toad or Zoe, depending on the day it seemed like. She was a highly charged sexual package. For real. A great writer as well.
