How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain
by Lisa Feldman Barrett Author
In this fascinating exploration of the neuroscience behind emotions, author and psychologist Lisa Feldman Barrett reveals the way that our emotions arise in the moment. Rather than being a pre-scripted response to particular stimuli, when we feel anger, sadness, happiness, fear, or any emotion, it is because our brains are responding to a particular context and configuration of brain chemistry, body chemistry, and cultural signals. Her work has been used to optimize practices in psychology, medicine, criminal justice, parenting, education, meditation, governance, and even airport security! A compelling exploration of human feeling.

Is there any other place to get the book in print?
The scans that Dylan did are very good. I suggest you get them instead of paying upwards of $50 on amazon or ebay!
This book is out of print, but I scanned a copy that you can download via bittorrent over at OneBigTorrent.org: http://onebigtorrent.org/torrents/4089/Anarchy-in-the-Age-of-Dinosaurs
