Surveying and interviewing thousands of college students, Donna Freitas began to develop this picture of how younger adults are deeply unhappy with hookup culture, even as it's become the norm for sexual relationships in younger generations. This book is about how hookup culture became the norm, and how young people can find a balance between sexual liberation and the genuine intimacy and connection they crave.
