This Book Will Make You Kinder: An Empathy Handbook

Kindness goes beyond everyday gestures like taking out the neighbor’s bins. It can also mean much more. Author Henry James Garrett lays out the case for developing a strong, courageous, moral kindness to fight cruelty and make the world more empathetic.

Building on his academic studies in metaethics, Garrett explores human empathy and its sources and limitations. He shows how we can work toward being our best and kindest selves. A world where everyone is fully empathetic would be a very kind world. This book aims to move the reader toward that world.

Where's her helmet? My boyfriend was hit by an elderly lady last spring and his helmet cracked into pieces but he was miraculously okay. Now I never ride without one.

This one I really, really like. Probably because she looks like a normal person/woman.
