Black Radical: The Life and Times of William Monroe Trotter
This volume, written by historian Kerri K. Greenidge, details the life of the unlikely and, regrettably, largely unknown activist, writer, and organizer, William Monroe Trotter. The Harvard educated Trotter wrote for and edited the Boston-based newspaper, the Guardian, and is noted as critical of the moderate and assimilationist views of his contemporaries, further, as having advocated for a vision of a Black liberation that prefigured individuals such as Malcolm X, MLK Jr, and Marcus Garvey.

I read this entire book in two days, forgoing eating, showering and working because I could not bring myself to put this down, when I had finished it, I wished I had savored it longer
