Get Well Soon

This novel is the story of a sixty-something misanthrope who winds up stuck in a hospital bed for six months after he was saved from drowning in the River Seine in the middle of Paris. As he recovers he looks back on the good and bad of his life, makes some new friends, and finds out that life has more surprises in store for him!
