My First Time: A Collection of First Punk Show Stories

I think it's fairly safe to assume that most people reading this description have attended a punk show in their time - making this book a fairly universal and nostalgic stroll down memory lane. The interesting part of this book though is that most of the names here are familiar - Blake Schwarzenbach, Michelle Tea, Russ Rankin, Michael Azerrad, Blag Dahlia, Ben Sizemore, Boff Whalley, Joe Queer, Paul Curran, Harrison Haynes, and many more. The best story of all though is by none other than Ann Kanaan, mother of Ramsey Kanaan about working "security" at a Political Asylum show in 1982 so her son would be able to perform!
