Somewhere between memoir and social analysis, Johnny Would You Love Me If My Dick Were Bigger tells the story of a gay man, with an eerie resemblance to author Brontez Purnell, living in a San Francisco he no longer recognizes. Character Brontez, a self-described "old-school homosexual," witnesses a new gayness he doesn't understand, a conservative rendition where gays wear seatbelts and condoms and bike helments.
