Rube Goldberg's Simple Normal Humdrum School Day

by Jennifer George Author and Ed Steckley Illustrator

This book for kids ages 5-7 shows a young Rube Goldberg as he uses complicated inventions from the time he gets up to the time he goes to bed. For Rube, the simplest way to get any task done is the most humorously complicated. Follow along the interactive depictions of fourteen inventions that help Rube accomplish simple tasks, like making breakfast or doing homework. Along with the fun and whimsy of the inventions, kids will be challenged with the introduction of basic STEM principles.
