Trouble Is What I Do
A crime novel about a morally ambiguous private investigator named Leonid McGill who's known for his inside knowledge and apparently infallable instinct. When a 92-year-old Mississippi bluesman comes knocking at his door it seems like a simple task: just deliver a letter revealing the black lineage of a wealthy hieress and her corrupt father. But Leonid can't resist the chance to shock the prevailing elite, and ends up having to protect his client and his own family.
