Panpocalypse is a magical realism novel about love in the time of corona. In it, a queer disabled woman named Orpheus bikes through a locked-down New York City in search of her ex-girlfriend Eurydice, who broke her heart. The city is seemingly abandoned, devoid of human connection. But not all hope is lost and the quest is not fruitless, for Orpheus discovers a mysterious underground bar called Le Monocle. Will Orpheus ever be able to love again? Panpocalypse—first published as an online serial in spring of 2020—is a novel about disease, decay, and desire.
