Slavic Ancient Origins (Collector's Editions)
by J.K. Jackson Author
The Slavs, a group of people from Eastern Europe, have their roots in the Vedic culture of India and the time of late Babylon. They were a military force supporting various tribes, including the Avars, Scythians, Visigoths, and Ugrics, who fought against the Roman empire in the 600s CE. They accompanied Celtic and Germanic tribes across the Baltics, Constantinople, and Greece before retreating to the Black Sea and North territories. Monkish historians wrote about their early history, and their conversion to Christianity spread beyond the old Roman Empire in the 800s and 900s. Their mythology is similar to Scandinavians, but their lands expanded as their influence settled into East, West, and South Slavs, incorporating Bulgarians and Hungarians.
