This is a book that celebrates puns—for those that love them and for those that groan but still feel the brain tingle of a good bit of humorous language play. Some of the greatest writers in the English language were masters of this kind of language and humor—including Willy Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde. Author Gemma Correll has an online series where she features puns—here she has surveyed her audience to compile some of the best entries from all time, including some of her illustrated/visual puns. This compact book features 50 puns and is a handy book to throw into a bag for a bus commute or for a quick pick me up that can be easily passed along when exhausted or saved to revisit.
