Garden Wildlife

This is a book that examines garden habitats from the perspective of wild animals and plants. By understanding our gardens this way, we can appreciate that they mimic wild habitats in microcosm (Hey, that’s the name of this business). This allows us to provide places for wild animals and plants to thrive in our gardens, regardless of their location. Above all, we should abandon the current obsession with tidiness and sterility, allowing odd corners to go wild so that native species can coexist with us in the modern world.

Without wildlife to discover and observe in our gardens, our local ecosystems are impoverished. We have a duty to ourselves and our children to invite nature back into our outdoor spaces.
