Feminist Interpretations of Ayn Rand
This is a collection of essays and other writings that analyze and criticize Ayn Rand’s words from a variety of feminist perspectives. There are some unique perspectives that shed new light on the works of this author, looking at her work through frameworks of camp or sadism, poststructuralism or post androgyny. They use Rand as a vector to explore feminism in relation to to things like individualism and capitalism, the ego and more. There is plenty of comparison with feminist writers and philosophers from the twentieth century, such as Simone de Beauvoir.
