This book will lead the greenhorn to rune divination through the basics, through the 24 runestaves of the Elder Futhark (as opposed to the Younger, futhark being the analogous to our word for alphabet). The Nordic, Northern European cultures, of the time believed in the "wyrd" which loosely translates to "fate". Rather than just guide you through fate, the book will teach the reader how to interpret the fate in a rune reading, beyond taking it at face value.
