You're the Only One I've Told: The Stories Behind Abortion

Dr. Meera Shah, the medical director at a  Planned Parenthood, wrote You're the Only One I've Told  to tell the various stories of all those she met whose abortion experiences shine a light on the process at a time when those rights are at risk. When Dr Shah told people what she did, she found women would often confess about their own abortions, following up with the disclaimer: you're the only one I've told. These stories are personal and taken from women of a variety of ages, races,  and classes but all serve to humanize the process and the people behind it.
