The Path to Peace: A Buddhist Guide to Cultivating Loving-Kindness
This book guides the reader through cultivating loving-kindness, also known as metta, for a better life and relationships. The book will discuss this concept along with what needs to be done in order to effectively foster and develop these qualities and values in our lives—from humility, love, compassion, and more. It focuses on building a peace through the habit of having a daily practice, one based in morality and concentration. It aims to help the reader do this by also providing 10 meditations. These meditations are heavily focused on visuals, rather than mantra recitations. The book also explores a bit of the author’s story, ethnically Jewish, Holocaust survivor, and a nun and teacher of Buddhism that worked extensively throughout her life to share and promote the principles she became adept and fond of.
