This book explores the wonderful world of bear—the fuzzy ones that live outdoors, not to be confused with…anyway—featuring captivating photography. Author and photographer Wayne Lynch takes the reader through the seasons and shows us bears at every stage of the year, at every stage of their lives. Fearsome, humans have understandably created legend out of this animal and Lynch is here to confirm and dispel the information surrounding bears. He’ll explore the many ways we study bears now, not without touching on climate change and habitat loss for many species of bears. He’ll bring forth the science to inform the reader, presented alongside over 150 photos to captivate them—accompanied by their biology, behavior, and their ecology.
