Abandoned Ohio: But That Day Did End

This book of history through photography explores the abandonment of many buildings and social places in Ohio. Author Hillary Kleptach, through her compilation of places and their histories, reveals the many emotion that were brought about in her and she hopes that her narrative and photographs will evoke them in the reader. The stories of these buildings are the stories of people, social relationships that were left to a silence and the wind, hollow vessels that have only the shadows and their histories to share.
