A Report of the Exploring Expedition to Oregon and California in the Years 1843-44
This book goes into the life of John Charles Frémont, known for his role in guiding the early colonizers to what is now referred to as the American west—namely Oregon territory and California—during the mid 19th century. The book will cover his maps and relics from his expeditions such as narrations and scientific documentations. It will go into Frémont’s life, from his birth to a French-Canadian father and a Virginian mother, his first expedition, to his solidification of the Oregon trail. Readers will get a sense of his life and his process for making a path for settlers.
