Like many of the other books in this series, this book showcases the past and the present though photography, looking at abandoned places, buildings, and landscapes. This particular edition takes a look at such places in Northern Colorado. From ghost towns, derelict homesteads, historic sites and structures, the author has traveled many a backroad to find many of the “gems” this book has to showcase. From it’s current state, many of the places featured here reveal something about the past of this beautiful area.
