Often seen as a crown gem and a place with widespread gentrification, the SF Bay Area has its share of urban decay which this book documents. The Bay Area has been a place of much diversity—in the people that live there, the landscape, and in its history. Through time, some businesses and enterprises and homes have seen better days and have been left to the elements to determine their future. That future has become our present and is laid out here; the authors took thousands of photos and have curated a selection that shared legends of the area and a somber beauty.
