Early Photographers of Glacier National Park
This book explores photographers and their work of Glacier National Park, from the time period of 1910 to 1940. This covers a decade before the region was considered a national park and covers the early days of park-hood. It also profiles some of the people that photographed the area in the late 19th century, the work of people working on geological surveys for the government. In addition to taking a look back in time, the book also contains some modern photographs that will give a sense of how the landscape has since changed in Glacier Park, to contrast with the old photos.
