Day of the Dead: A Count and Find Primer

This board book will introduce infants and toddlers (marketed for ages 0-3) to Día de los muertos, or Day of the Dead, through this colorful 10-page primer. The book features engaging activities and objects — including counting, finding particular objects through frantic parades and images of celebrations. It features the carnival like celebrations, Las Catrinas — the skeleton-like face paint artwork, photographs of departed loved ones, flower crowns, musicians, pan de muertos (bread of the dead), Marigolds and other flowers, and more. With a couple additional activities in the back of the book and a quick engaging glossary in the back, this book will delight children with it’s engaging, retro mid-century style artworks.
